Mountain | Tadasana
Mountain is a fundamental standing posture that aligns the spine, improves stance and strengthens the arches, ankles, knees and thighs.

Materials
- yoga mat
Instructions
- Stand with your feet parallel. Make sure your knees are facing directly ahead.
- Engage your core, bring your shoulders away from your neck while pressing the shoulder blades more onto your back.
- Stay for several full breaths.
Notes
Variations: different variations include raising both arms overhead or bringing palms together close to the chest in prayer position
